Self Defence & Conditioning
These sessions deliver intelligent and functional movement with defensive tactical skills whilst enhancing your fitness level! This enables you to become fitter and healthier through training and understanding self defence.
Fitness with a Purpose!
Sessions will include cardio work to raise fitness levels, strength training for toning and definition plus core work to aid good posture by strengthening and stabilising the skeleton.
Typical training sessions involve :
- Warm up – pulse raisers
- Pad work – striking, punching, elbow strikes
- Kick bag – knee strikes, various kicking techniques
- Weight Free Workout – utilising own body mass as resistance
- Medicine ball training
- Cardio Work – high intensity training
- Stretching Techniques
Within these sessions personal safety techniques and information are worked in, such as Anti grab, strike and break away, vulnerable striking points and defensive positioning.
These sessions are intensive and designed to enable you to become fit, shape up and gain a basic understanding of personal safety very quickly!
